Open Art Studio & Studio Play Dates Designed especially for young artists ages 3-12 years old. Children have access to a wide range of inspiring materials and a variety of ways to explore them. Along with special featured activities and materials, centers may include: play dough and clays, drawing, painting and printmaking, beading, collage and construction, and more. Children may move freely between different activity centers, spending as little or as much time as they choose at each. Studio staff does not give formal art instruction; we encourage creative thinking, provide gentle guidance and offer support as needed.
A fun activity for special groups (play groups, scouts & clubs, parties, etc), one-time or ongoing studio play dates can be booked throughout the week!
Times & Reservations Availability varies and advance reservations are required. Please call 516-922-8300 to reserve a spot. Children younger than four must have an adult onsite. Additional studio hours are also offered during school holidays and vacations. Please see our calendar for the schedule.
The fee for Open Art Studio is $15 per hour per child, with a 1-hour minimum charge. Accompanying adults are free. 10-hour studio cards may be purchased for $120 and applied toward any combination of one or more children, including relatives, friends, and other guests.
Art & Science Workshops Offered during summer and throughout the year. Engaging and playful, workshops often feature some of the most popular projects & activities from our thematic mini camps, art and science classes. For children grades 1+ unless otherwise specified.

The fee for workshops Unless otherwise noted, 1.5 hour workshops are $25 per child and include all materials unless otherwise specified. Participants are asked to please register and pay in advance, to guarantee a spot and to ensure materials for each child.
